About the artist

Hi! I'm Megan and I love creating art and sharing it with people, and encouraging others to do the same. You can check out my Instagram here where I share some process videos, cultivate a welcoming community, and share some exquisite* latte foam art with tea (not coffee).

If you wanna talk to me about Avatar the Last Airbender, Paramore, Toad singing Chandelier, kombucha, cats, dry humor… then you should do that. I’ll talk about those things any day. I actually have no friends so please talk to me. (For legal reasons this is a joke… probably).

*Exquisite = very, very bad… like, so bad it’s funny

Painting new life into old vinyl records

When I’m not making a fool of myself with my latte art, or quoting some ridiculous Vine reference, then I’m usually painting on some old, worn out vinyl records. It makes me sad seeing records collect dust in antique stores, so I decided to change that by up-cycling them and giving them new life. I listen to each record before painting on it, and sometimes that inspires what I end up painting. Every record is sealed for protection of the paint, and you can in fact still play on the back side where there is no paint! This listing on my Etsy shop shows some that I’ve done in the past, and my Instagram has some fun ones too!

A very friendly person, yes

Look, I’m sitting and holding a cup of tea. That means I’m approachable and not weird. Very normal.

So now that you’ve seen this photo of me, demonstrating how wonderfully personable I am, you should say hi to me. I need more friends. Please. Don’t let the smile fool you. I’m desperate.

If you don’t wanna be friends, that’s fine. Just watch this video for me instead. (No, it’s not a rick roll… I know we’re strangers and you have no reason to trust me, but I promise it’s not a rick roll).
